My kids have really gotten into the election! Our good friend is Mitt Romney's brother in law, so the kids have enjoyed campaigning for "Uncle Mitt" along with their friends. Here are Marianne and Evan with their homemade signs. They're very cute and glittery. Unfortunately, someone took Evan's sign from the front yard this evening. He searched the neighborhood and even offered a reward to his prime suspects (our Obama loving neighbors) but the sign still hasn't turned up. At least I took a picture!
My older boys haven't been left out of the election excitement. Ryan and Aaron left seminary early to help hold a huge Mitt Romney sign above the freeway during the morning commute. Ryan went to the rally in Long Beach last night and heard Mitt Romney speak. He even got to go backstage since he was with the family. He's out again tonight with the Romney crowd awaiting the election results. Evan is too young to join the party, but he's glued to the TV at home. We're all keeping our fingers crossed!
